Common Pregnancy Symptoms
The Mayo Clinic reveals some common symptoms women experience early in their pregnancies. You may be experiencing one or a couple of these symptoms. To be sure, receive a free and confidential lab-quality urine pregnancy test at our center today.
1. A Missed Period
Did you miss a period? If irregular periods are common for you, it can be more difficult to tell if you’re pregnant. Take more than one pregnancy test to be sure.
Wait a week after your missed period to see if you do get your period, or take a pregnancy test around the same time to see if you’re pregnant.
2. Nausea (with or without vomiting)
Hormonal changes cause nausea and morning sickness. However, not every woman will experience this symptom.
3. Tender, Swollen Breasts
As many hormonal changes occur, a woman may experience tender, swollen breasts that feel sore and sensitive. These symptoms may go away with time as her body adjusts.
4. Fatigue
Feeling a bit more tired than normal? Women often can feel increasingly tired and sleepy with pregnancy, most likely due to hormonal changes in a woman’s body.
5. Frequent Urination
More frequent trips to the bathroom could be a sign of pregnancy. Early in pregnancy, the cause is likely linked to a woman’s body increasing blood production. The kidneys process more fluid, which ends up in the bladder.
